Chicken Tikka

Recipe for Chicken Tikka

Chicken tikka is very popular in India.  People enjoy the chicken tikka as starters in different ways. Tikka means small pieces of chicken. I am sharing with you all how to make Chicken Tikka Recipe in a very simple way.

My recipe is very easy marinated in yogurt and ginger garlic paste and other spices. And  I make it in a pan or kadai with shallow frying it. You can also make Chicken Tikka Masala in a gravy dish or Chicken Tikka Biryani too. I cook my dishes with minimum of masala. The total preparation time after you have all your ingredients ready in hand is just 5 minutes.

Ingredients :
500 gms boneless chicken cut into small cubes
For the marination to get absorbed in the chicken it is better to poke it with the fork so that all the masalas get absorbed.
Ingredients of Masala to be marinated :
Marinated ingredients masala for Chicken Tikka
1. Ginger garlic paste
2. 3-4 greeen chillies
3. A big bunch of coriander leaves
4. 2 tablespoon curd
5. 2 tablespoon kashmiri chillie powder
6. salt as per your taste
7. A pinch of turmeric powder
8. 2 teaspoon pepper powder
Now marinate the chicken with the above marination and mix it well and keep aside. I usually keep it overnight if there is time or you can keep it for 2 hours in a fridge to marinte the Chicken tikka.
You can cut the green chillies and coriander and keep it aside
Preparation method:
Put a little oil in a pan and put the marinated Chicken Tikka pieces in that to fry and fry it for 3-4 minutes.
Now add your cut coriander and green chillies and green chillies and turn the gas flame off. While on the gas when it is hot give it a good stir.
Remove it in a bowl. You can serve it in a bowl or plate it up with toothpicks and have it with mint chutney. You can look for the recipe of yummy Mint Chutney Recipe in my another blog.
