Soyabean Potato Curry

Soyabean Potato Curry quick recipe
Soyabean is high in fibre and protein and low in saturated fat. It is a good source of antioxidants and Omega 3 fatty acids. Soy is a healthy choice of millions of people in the world.
Ingredients:
1. 1 cup of soya chunks 
2. 2 Medium sized potatoes
3. 2 Medium size onions
4. 1 cup curd
5. 1 cup tomato puree
6. 1-2 bay leaves
7. 1 piece cinnamon stick
8. 2 green cardamoms
9. 3-4 cloves
10. One and half teaspoon ginger garlic paste
11.  One and half teaspoon pepper powder
12. 2 Large cardamom
Additional Ingredients:
1. Kashmiri Chilli powder
2. Salt to taste
3. Cumin powder (Jeera powder)
4. Turmeric powder (haldi powder)
Method :
Soak Soya chunks in hot water for 5 minutes and then remove the water by pressing with hands and keep it aside.
Take a pan or kadai put the little oil and put the chopped onions in it and fry it until brown.
Once the onions are turned into brown color remove it from the pan and switch off the gas flame while leaving few onions in it. 
Now add the bay leaf, large cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste and give it a stir. Put the gas flame on and fry it for a minute.You can put very little water in it while frying.
Now add the potatoes which you have cut and kept aside. Add 1/2 cup water and cover the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes.
While the potatoes are being cooked you have to make a paste of curd and fried onions. Take a mixer jar. Put the curd and onion and grind it into a paste.
Now the curd and onions paste is ready and it will look like this. After 5 minutes when you open the lid and the potatoes are cooked put the soya chunks, this onion and curd paste one cup water and cover the lid of the pan and cook in slow flame for another 2-3 minutes.
And after 3 minutes your Yum Soya Chunks Potato Curry is ready. You can have it with Parathas, Rice, Naan as you wish.

  1. Soya chunks that taste like mutton. This can easily replace Sunday non vegetarian meal, give the same joy but provide more health. Nicely presented. Keep it up
