Coconut semolina (rawa) burfi in 3 easy steps


Ingredients :

Semolina (rawa) 2 cups
Desigated coconut 2 cups ( It is available in the market which is very handy)
Nestle milk powder or any other milk powder 2 cups
Milk 2 cups
2 tablespoon ghee
Dry fruits (Almonds, pista, kaju, kismiss) You can take of your choice or whatever is available at home.

Method:

Step 1 :

Take a pan put 2 tablespoon ghee and put semolina (rawa) and stir it for 3-4 minutes. Now put Nestle milk powder, desigated coconut and give it a stir. You can put additional sugar if you want to make it sweet. I do not make it very sweet. Add 2 cups milk to it  and mix it well but pour the milk little by little to form a consistency of a dough. It will take another 2 minutes.

Step 2:

Set it in a plate/ tray 

When you pour the mixture in a plate or tray to set add the crushed dry fruits on it and press it with spatula or flat spoon. Let is set for 1 hour or you can keep it in a fridge also to set it.

Step 3:

Now you can cut the burfi in cubes or diamond shape whichever you like and your tasty burfi is ready in few minutes.
